  1. Couple thoughts on the GREAT pics:
    -weak state sign climbing
    -free range meat!
-tree shots were great, but not "artistic" enough
-I bet the gas station attendant could tell you where to stick it...

Also, a recap of our weekend in the form of the Poughkeepsitement Scale
    1. Thinking our waiter may have been deaf after he shouted the specials at us on saturday night, after we were promised a great restaurant with food we would "fall in love with"
    2. Thinking our waiter may have been deaf and retarded after he forgot our order saturday night
    3. Not trusting our hiker's intuition and passing the trailhead to Gertrude's Nose lookout
    4. Paying $2.95 to live stream a stage of the Tour de France only to watch Lance drop to over a minute behind
    5. Spotting another trail's blaze through the woods and jumping onto a cliffside trail with "Nose-like" views
    6. Thinking how great it was that one can watch a commercial-free, live stage of the TdF for only $2.95
    7. Seeing a family of ducklings cross the road single file behind mom, only 10 minutes after having a discussion about Make Way for Ducklings
    8. Falling in love with the angel hair and crabmeat dish as well as the swordfish steak we received promptly after ordering (a second time) on saturday evening
    9. Getting an iPod Touch for your birthday - a few weeks early
    10. Not having to give your iPhone up to your girlfriend every time she wants to play a game

  2. I have literally not thought once about visiting the pacific northwest, but I now can't wait to go after seeing those pictures. That looks awesome.

    Weekend:

    1-8 studying for the bar.
    9. cracking up thinking about Hatoun running after that dude in the Tour (rumination from reading that a spectator died).
    10. Watching spongeworthy seinfeld.

  3. North to South may not be downhill, but it sure is getting prettier by the mile. Looks to me, however, that the fog is following you all the way to Mexico.
